  • A referee clinic was held on Sunday November 20, 1978 at the Beacon Heights rink building, 121 Ave & 43 St


  • A film on Ringette was brought in on loan from Ontario Ringette for the last two weeks in October. It was shown to schools in the different zones


  • On the Jan 10 Meeting minutes it states that....."Calgary Parks & Rec.is trying to start Ringette......... Chair Joan Wood met with representatives of Calgary Parks & Rec


  • Ringette Alberta approves (sanctions) the Petite Invitational Tournament


  • The Petite Invitational Tournament was held on March 11 and 12, 1979 at Santa Rosa Arena. 4 Petite teams from Edmonton and 4 from outlying areas participated


  • April 12 Minutes state: ........ The Petite Tournament was a huge success .... we went $.14 in the red....."
